Spring Education Group schools celebrate National Reading Month

This March, Spring Education Group schools across the country celebrated National Reading Month. Students of all ages commemorated the month-long event with a variety of activities and community initiatives, including:

  • Donating nearly 3,000 books to the Pajama Program to provide children in their community the access to books that they deserve
  • Collecting 70 pairs of pajamas and 120 books for Ronald McDonald House to benefit children supported by the organization who are being treated for critical illnesses or traumatic injuries
  • Sliming their principal and turning school staff into human ice cream sundaes as a reward for reading more than 300 books and 120,000 minutes
  • Hosting a “March Book Madness” where students read books from a variety of genres throughout the month of March and voted to determine the 2023 Book of the Year

Literacy is a crucial component in all Spring Education Group school curriculums, and schools work to instill and maintain a love of reading in students throughout their entire educational experience. Through these initiatives, students celebrated their love of reading and worked to make books accessible to everyone in their communities.
