Each summer, our Early Childhood Education schools come together through Kids Helping Communities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and organizations in need. These experiences give students the opportunity to practice compassion, generosity, and responsibility while discovering that their actions can have a positive impact on the lives of others.

This year, our students made an incredible difference. Together, they raised $40,228.40 to help battle childhood cancer through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, while also supporting Ronald McDonald House. Students collected 240 books for children and more than 150 essential items for local families in need, including members of their own school communities.

While these numbers reflect the generosity of our schools, the true impact extends beyond the donations themselves. By participating in Kids Helping Communities, children begin to see themselves as caring members of a larger community and experience firsthand the value of helping others.

Giving back is woven into the culture of our schools throughout the year. From food and clothing drives to environmental initiatives, visits with senior living communities, and other local outreach efforts, our students are encouraged to look for meaningful ways to make a difference, one thoughtful action at a time.
